Room Hire: The Old Laundry
As the name suggests our state-of-the-art community room is situated in the original laundry. Unfortunately, none of the original features survived, but it allowed us to create this large multi-functional room which can be used for a variety of activities and events.
Layout Options:
- Open Space – suitable for 60 people
- Classroom style – suitable for 40 people
- Boardroom style – tables in a rectangular formation seating up to 30
- Theatre style – suitable for 60 chairs
- Tea room style – randomly arranged tables with chairs seating up to 60
This space is equipped with a sound system, microphones (hand held and head set versions) and a projector and screen. These are available for a small extra charge. Refreshments for your group or event can be ordered which can be served in the Laundry.
Private Parties
The Old Laundry can also be booked for private parties, such as children’s parties, birthdays, celebrations or wakes. You have sole use of The Old Laundry with plenty of space for socialising, food tables and even room for a bouncy castle.
Costs
The Laundry can be hired for £25 per hour weekends and evenings (last booking 9pm) and £20 per hour weekdays (last booking 4pm). Refreshment costs and buffet packages can be discussed with our team.
