Help with Fundraising

Back from the brink
Byrne Avenue Baths is being restored and run by Byrne Avenue Trust, a registered charity (charity no. 1172104) and a company limited by guarantee (company no. 9919384). That means that nobody takes any profits out of the Trust. Everything that is made is used to either run the Baths, restore and maintain the Baths or put on activities and events for our local community.
We couldn’t do this without our Team of dedicated staff and wonderful volunteers.
All of our Team are local people. Our Trustees all live within 2 miles of the Baths and have been working tirelessly to save the building and see it restored and re-opened for the local community to use.

Our Team

Jane Richards
CEO
Having worked as the Project Manager for the first part of the restoration for the last 7 years, I was delighted to be offered the role of CEO. After all the hard work that has gone into the building so far, it is very exciting to see the Baths opening to the community and we are looking forward to offering a great range of activities while we also work on raising the funds for Phase 2 of the restoration.

Adam Carter
Centre Manager
Growing up in the area and using the Baths regularly it is an exciting opportunity for me to play a part for Byrne Avenue Baths to become the heart of the community once again.

Tayla
Centre Assistant
I am excited to be a part of the team in helping get Byrne Avenue back to it’s glory days.

Charlie
Centre Assistant
I am pleased to be part of the Byrne Avenue Team and excited for future events .
The Trustees
Peter Sherlock
Trust Chairman
Peter has been in sales and marketing for 25 years across many retail platforms.
His mother lived in Byrne Avenue and like many we speak to, he learned to swim there. He loves the building with a passion
Cathy McClarnon
Trustee
Cathy McClarnon has worked locally for the NHS for 30 years and lives a short walk from Byrne Avenue.
She has fond memories of competing in the swimming galas and is excited to be part of a project that promises so much for the mental and physical health of the local community.
Jan Kiermasz
Trustee
Jan has been in IT since 1990 and has worked with Small business Owners since 2003.
She had swimming lessons at the baths in primary school but unlike most actually ‘failed’ to learn to swim there! She is excited to be part of a project for such a beautiful building.
