Back from the brink

Byrne Avenue Baths is being restored and run by Byrne Avenue Trust, a registered charity (charity no. 1172104) and a company limited by guarantee (company no. 9919384). That means that nobody takes any profits out of the Trust. Everything that is made is used to either run the Baths, restore and maintain the Baths or put on activities and events for our local community.

We couldn’t do this without our Team of dedicated staff and wonderful volunteers.

All of our Team are local people. Our Trustees all live within 2 miles of the Baths and have been working tirelessly to save the building and see it restored and re-opened for the local community to use.

Our Team

Jane Richards, CEO at Byrne Avenue Baths

Jane Richards

Having worked as the Project Manager for the first part of the restoration for the last 7 years, I was delighted to be offered the role of CEO. After all the hard work that has gone into the building so far, it is very exciting to see the Baths opening to the community and we are looking forward to offering a great range of activities while we also work on raising the funds for Phase 2 of the restoration.

I am pleased to be part of the Byrne Avenue Team and excited for future events.

I started as a volunteer and loved it so much when the opportunity to become a member of the team came up I was delighted to accept.

I am currently doing my Apprenticeship too.

He lives within walking distance of the baths and it has been part of his life growing up in Rock Ferry.

Jon Williams
